TWSA Directors Meeting of October 8, 2007
Directors Present: Curt Gibeaut, Carl Salzwedel, and Jim Murphy.
Directors Absent: Carl Johnson, Larry Mittelstaedt, Jeff Anderson, and Michael Borchers.
Jim Murphy called meeting to order.
Carl Salzwedel read the Secretary’s report for the meeting of August 13th, 2007. Jim Murphy made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Curt Gibeaut motion carried as read.
Jim Murphy read the Treasurer’s report. Carl Salzwedel made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Curt Gibeaut motion carried as read.
Old Business
Discussion for fishery is tabled until next meeting.
Archery Bunkers were purchased from Scheels.
Discussion is tabled until the next meeting on 3-D shoot with Scheels. The Date is attentively scheduled for May 17 & 18th 2008.
Badger Challenge Academy shoot is on October 13th 2007.
Decision is tabled for add for WBH. Board recommends ½ page add for $161for the year.
Discussion is tabled on having Boy Scouts be able to use club grounds. We need to find out what are insurance covers. They have asked us if we could donate items that they need. The board suggests that we give donation to the Boy Scouts to purchase misc. items.
We are in the process of getting quotes for the acoustical ceiling. Any decisions tabled until next meeting.
New Business
TWSA has purchased tables & chairs for a cost of $2,146.47 from the NRA Grant.
The next NRA grant application needs to be in by November 1, 2007.
Carol Utke is looking for available dates to hold Women in the Outdoors event in 2008.
Carl Salzwedel made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jim Murphy meeting adjourned.
