TWSA Directors Meeting of November 12, 2007
Directors Present: Curt Gibeaut, Carl Salzwedel, Michael Borchers
Jeff Anderson, Carl Johnson, and Jim Murphy.
Directors Absent: Larry Mittelstaedt.
Members Present: Alan Potter
President Carl Johnson called meeting to order.
Carl Salzwedel read the Secretary’s report for the meeting of October 8th, 2007. Jeff Anderson made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Michael Borchers motion carried as read.
Jim Murphy read the Treasurer’s report. Michael Borchers made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Curt Gibeaut motion carried as read.
Old Business
We will not be holding a Fishery due to time constraints.
Plans are being worked on for 3-D shoot with Scheels. The date is attentively scheduled for May 17 & 18th 2008.
Badger Challenge Academy shoot was successful.
Jim Murphy made a motion to purchase 5 dozen arrows for $145 from Fisherman’s Night Out account to replace arrows Badger Academy used, seconded by Jeff Anderson motion carried.
Michael Borchers made a motion to place WBH ½ page add for $161 for the year, seconded by Curt Gibeaut motion carried.
May 3-4 or 10-11 of 2008 would be good weekends for the boy scouts to use the club grounds.
Curt Gibeaut made a motion to donate $100 to Boy Scouts Troop 5, seconded by Michael Borchers motion carried.
$1,930 has been paid for the acoustical ceiling. The entire NRA Grant money has now been has been spent on the classroom.
New Business
Tuesday night shotgun has slowed up due to hunting and other fall events in the area.
Upcoming shotgun shoots are being planed.
Don Jones has donated back $200 to TWSA for the Bow that was won in the club raffle.
This money will be earmarked for a recognition plaque.
Indoor archery will start Dec 19 at fairgrounds.
200 memberships need to be ordered and printed.
Christmas party is being planned.
Jeff Anderson made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Michael Borchers meeting adjourned.
Next Meeting December 17th 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at Tomah Fairgrounds.
