TWSA Directors Meeting of December 17, 2007
Directors Present: Curt Gibeaut, Carl Salzwedel, Michael Borchers
Jeff Anderson Carl Johnson Jim Murphy, and Larry Mittelstaedt.
Members Present: Alan Potter and Mark Amundson.
President Carl Johnson called meeting to order.
Carl Salzwedel read the Secretary’s report for the meeting of November 12th, 2007. Michael Borchers made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Larry Mittelstaedt motion carried as read.
Jim Murphy read the Treasurer’s report. Larry Mittelstaedt made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Michael Borchers motion carried as read.
Old Business
5 dozen arrows were purchased for $152.97 from Fisherman’s Night Out account to replace arrows Badger Academy used.
New Business
Upcoming shotgun events for next year are being setup.
Michael Borchers made a motion that we order a recognition plaque, 18” x 24” with 80 name plates and call it “The Jones Recognition Plaque” donated by Don & Mavis Jones, seconded by Curt Gibeaut motion carried.
Scheels 3-D shoot was discussed. The club grounds will need some work done to hold the event. There will be more discussion and planning at future meetings.
There was talk on having 3-d shoot set up for entire summer next year due to increased attendance. In order to do this we will need to increase fee from $5 to $8 to help pay for upkeep on 3-D targets as they are quit costly to maintain. There will be more discussion at future meetings.
Do to the higher cost for indoor bunkers; we will need to use them longer if at all possible. Each paid person is only allowed to shoot 70 arrows max. per paid target.
January 17, 2008 archery league will start for a period of 10 weeks. Teams will be setup 4 people to a team. We would like teams set up as soon as possible.
TWSA Annual Meeting will be held February 11th, 2008 7:00 P.M. on Club Grounds.
Women in the Outdoors will be here on April 19, 2008.
