PRESIDENT REPORT
As you all know we received our grant money from the Friends of the NRA and put it to good use in the club house. The drop ceiling is almost completed and as you can tell, it made a big improvement in the room. We also purchased tables, chairs, TV and a sound system that will be installed at a later date.
This year Cranfest sales went very well. The Cranfest Association donated 12,600 dollars for this year sales to us. I like to thank everyone who helped this year and we always could use more help.
As for events last year, Frank Stump held two hunter safety courses. We had our first Women in the outdoors event which they participated in archery, shotgun, ATV safety, crafts and fly fishing casting thru out the day. In October we had the Badger Challenge cadets out for a 3D shoot. We set up 14 targets and had around 120 cadets shoot the course. We had support from the Boys and Girls Club and Tomah High School to have enough equipment for all the cadets.
We were able to give out 4 $200 scholarships from Fisherman's Night Out.
Last summer we got hit by some storms that took down several trees through-out the archery course. The Badger Challenge cadets were able to help out and with the help from some club members we got some of it clean up. We are now in the process of getting the rest of it clean up with the help from the Monroe County Correctional Services. They have loggers that will cut the wood and the inmates help work off there debt.
Last year we were lucky to break even with the increases in taxes, insurance and working on finishing the club house. We need everyone's support at all club functions. The Scheels shoot is one that will take several different committees to put it together. This shoot could be our biggest in archery if we are organized and ready. So please get involved and if you have questions please contact one of the board members.
Steve Gebhardt made a motion to accept the report as read and to send a copy to all club members, seconded by Larry Mittelstaedt motion carried to accept report as read and to send a copy to all club members.

The NRA Grant is applied for again this year.
The Don & Mavis Jones Recognition Plaque is set up for all donators of the new club house/classroom.
The NRA is asking for names of any one from WI who has served in the Iraq War so that they can be entered into a drawing for an African hunt that is being donated. If anyone has names, they can be given to Curt Gibeaut.
The Outstanding Service Award for 2007 was given to Dale Anderson.
