Africa is emerging as a significant producer of natural rubber, with Côte d'Ivoire's natural rubber complying with European regulations providing a favorable boost. According to statistics from the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG), Côte d'Ivoire's natural rubber production reached 1.548 million metric tons in 2023. This marks nearly a doubling from the 815,000 metric tons produced in 2019.
